Posts.
Found this on a blog about a year ago, Don't know who wrote it but, credit to whomever wrote it. I think everyone can relate to it.
"You can hate a person just by looking at her/him: the hair, the smile, the look, the clothes. Anything can trigger negative feelings. You just have to go with that flow and any proof that person is not horrible will have no influence on you.
I don’t know if we could say a good thing about every person we’ve met so far, maybe they haven’t impressed us in a positive way, but we can most certainly bitch about all of them. There must have been something to annoy us at one point. It’s only human! For every nice gesture and person who smiled thanks to you, there is an unhappy person, someone who feels neglected or discriminated against.
It’s human to be annoyed, but above that, I think it’s human to be hatable (being available for hate).
We are hatable with every gesture, every choice we make and tear we drop. Because all these are movements on a map filled with people and, inevitably, when we go one way we get closer to some and estrange from others. We are, in essence, controversial.
Some are more controversial than others, true. It depends on how far we move from the center of the map or, in other words, how extremist we are. And how much we show of our personality we show to others. But still, we are always lovable to some and hatable to others.
That’s the breakthrough. We’re both good and evil, pleasant and repulsive, smart and stupid. It only depends on where we’re standing when we’re judging. There is no black and white. And that’s why the big picture is important: we need to see the balance between the smiles and the tears someone provokes. And the reasons. The intentions. The more information we have, the better we see the tone of gray.
Anyway, we are hatable. That’s our most human trait. Every person stands for the things another one hates. That’s life."

Airplanes
I've been on a plane since 7 am. And I'm feeling pretty jet lagged and this lack of sleep is going to catch up to me. I love planes, love the feeling of flying. While on the plane I was looking at clouds and some of them looked like hearts, then the southwest logo was of a heart, then I thought about heartbreak sound. I've realized that everything I do in life has to do with a heart whether its on a shirt or my own actual heart beating, its always there. heartbreak sound is a big part of my life and Im grateful to get the chance to express my emotions or my ideas on a shirt that someone wears to school, work, or just around the house. everyone has a heart, everyone will or has had there heartbroken, emotionally and physically we will be haunted by that beating organ, it keeps us alive and sometimes if your mind is quiet enough you can hear it beating. I think heartbreak sound represents all of that, in one, a huge whole of a heart. I love what I do, the people that I meet along the way, and I'm learning to love the not-so-lovable moments in life. Your heart will always be with you, and I hope that heartbreak sound will always be with everyone that buys a shirt or supports us or even the people that hate the company. because at the end of the day you know who we are and what we do, and why we do it. And that's all that matters. The heart in everything is what matters. That's what heartbreak sound is, that's who we are so thank you, for clicking the links on a website that led you here, its a pleasure doing what I do for you.

Power thinking...

I think I've always been oblivious to people's actions. I am one of those people that sees the big picture. In Art and Fashion it's about leaving your heart in that picture, in those clothes. And by seeing the big picture, by accepting people as a whole I forget about the actions that they do, that define who they are. My point is that don't be fooled and don't be afraid to look at the small details in a person for the good or bad, don't forget to observe people and their actions. Because everyones actions define who they are. I appriciate good art, good fashion and good people but, I have to remember that not everyone is like a picture, that everyone is not a piece of clothing. That's my power thought of the day!

Thinking out loud.
Some people may sound vunerable because they say how they feel but, after thinking I give a lot of credit to people who always say how they feel, or even fight to feel. It's a hard thing to admit that you are sad, weak, mad etc. and express it in a way where it impacts someone else's thoughts (In a good way). Quick power thought of the day and had to share it. Respect emotions, they impact us in a big way.

Alexander McQueen

Alexander Mcqueen.
Alexander Mcqueen's collection was supposed to be shown the day of his death, they say that a heartbreak may have contributed to his death. Personally, This collection was THE collection I was waiting for, I hope that next year I will visit fashion week.
I wanted to write this from the heart. His collection (Which I will post the link to) made me think, made me stand up at home, and be in complete awe of his work. I know how it feels like to be starting off and trying to get somewhere with passion and a sewing machine. I congratulate him on his work and detail in his collection. Even though it was for men, it made me want to dress up in that clothing and feel powerful, feel edgey, and feel free of design. A lot of the feed back from his collection has been negative but, if you look at how he pieced everything together, the way the models are expressing themselves, that alone speaks for the clothes itself. Just because he died doesn't mean his name will not continue. I believe in that guy who took his time and tryed to get through heartbreak while putting together what is now his last collection, I believe in his name, his brand, his passion and his over all image for HIS clothing line/company. He is truely an inspiration to me. Forever rest in peace in all your fabulous glory, Alexander Mcqueen I will not forget you or your work.
